I don't have a specific hand, but this situation is fairly common. I have been getting table grief, I wanted a real opinion.
Hero is on button with 237xx
utg limps, hero raises, both blinds come along.
SB draws 4. BB draws 3, UTG draws 2, Hero draws 2
You catch to blanks,
Sb checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises.
I am trying to limit the field here even though I may be behind. Thoughts?

doing that sometimes is fine, but it's more reasonable to do it with hands that aren't drawing as smoothly as 237. 237 makes wheels and wins huge pots in multiway hands, but hands like 368 really need to fight for isolation and position in order to have maximum value.

A raise will probably get the SB to fold the BB might think the pot is big enough if he caught a card, I like the raise but don't think it will cut the field much, I like it for value.
